Do you feel like you are somewhat dependent on your cell phone?

Yeah, but only because these days there's one pay phone for every two cities in America.

No.
I usually have my phone without the ringer, and I do not usually keep it on my person. I tend to leave it in my bag where it cannot distract me, and where I also do not see it when it lights up to tell me something I probably either A) already knew, or B) don't want to know.
When I was in high school, my parents forced me to get a phone and to keep it with me at all times. Frankly, it is very inconvenient.
I do not like texting, I type 100WPM on a computer keyboard and probably less than 10WPM on a 12-keypad phone -- this difference, I simply cannot stand.
I do like calling, but have an impossibly hard time hearing cell phones since they are often built with poor microphones and speakers, and the cell networks often do not carry audio at high quality.

So no. I do not feel dependent on my cell phone.
I've misplaced it many times without noticing.

No. My cell is a necessary evil. I leave it at home on purpose. I'm out. If I wanted to talk to someone for hours, I'd stay home and call them.
