Do you greet everyone when you walk down the street?

If they look friendly. For example: Nice looking clean guy=Hello!
Scrubby looking guy= Akward look.
No offense, but if you look mean, I probably won't talk to you.

Depends on the weather. In a dark, murky day everyone has their head down minding their own business. However, for example it is the first day of spring (even here in dreary Scotland), the sun is shinning, the snowdrops and crocuses are out and you feel just wonderful to be alive then with a spring in your step it is likely most people will say to those passing in the street something like "Good morning!, "Lovely Day","Seems like spirng is here" or something similar.

nope .. whichever person is willing to greet some random stranger is a person i respect. why? cus they are truely happy-they dont hate the world- they are living.

besides a simple hi to someone or simply being nice can turn another persons day into a good day :)

I greet everyone who makes eye contact. If people are just walking along looking at the ground or are obviously tuning into their own thoughts, there's no point in addressing them because they won't even realize you are doing it. But if anyone happens to catch my glance, I always say "Hi". Why not? The world is a nasty place generally. You never know, if you say "Hi" to a stranger you just might make their day. They might be so surprised at the gesture that they pay it forward to the next person and so on and so on...................... The world would be a brighter place if there were a few more "Hi's" spoken each day.
