Do you laugh at religious people who call global warming a "scam"?

I laugh whenever I see a religious zealot conservative call global warming a "scam". These are the same people who pray to an imaginary friend in the clouds whom they think they can talk to and who will grant them wishes. They also believe in talking snakes and that Eve came from the rib of Adam instead of evolution... There are no words for that level of ignorance. Are cons hopelessly confused or can we hold out hope that they will someday learn how think independently?

Earth to religious people...you subscribe to the biggest scam in the history of humanity: religion!

I can't wait to see all the Christians answer this question with insults/attacks and nonsensical statements.

It's not like they are seeking to use government force to stupidly ruin the economy and inflict huge taxes. So their beleifs are not my business. Why have liberals developed so much intolerance of religion? Are they getting in your way or something?

No, but I do laugh at people who have fallen for the global warming scam. The liberals are definitely confused and should try thinking for themselves, for a change.


The sun has been burning hotter, that is not global warming. How do the esteemed scientists account for the Martian ice caps for receding during the same time period? The 2 Martian Rovers we left there are solar powered.

Well I am a Christian Democrat . And I do strongly believe that we are and should be Good Stewards of this beautiful Planet that we live on.
And we as collective Humans Obviously have not been . .
There is a passage in the New Testament where it says that God will destroy those who are destroying the Earth .
Religions
today have twisted that meaning around to say that God will save them . And they consider The Earth to be just their brand Christianity ( though other passages will dispute that ).
Considering just How much the Ancient people venerated the Earth and appreciated it . I think it is a literal passage . And It means exactly what it says .

No. I laugh at morons who treat "Climate Change" (as it's now called) as their personal religion.

I should know about these people - I used to be one myself until I grew up.

smarter then what? a doorknob?

Can't laugh. These people are far too dangerous. And what makes it even worse is that there is a well funded machine out there denying global warming. At the end of the day, what finally does humanity in, might just be the sheer number of stupid people on the planet.

Because of global warming and other issues, it's no longer possible to isolate yourself from the morons and not let their life affect yours.

Do you really believe that AGW is not the New Age church? AGW has all the hallmarks of religion. Blind faith in that which you do not understand, judgment day, a holy doctrine(peer reviewed science), heretics and non-believers, sacrifice. Even Big Al Gore serving as high priest.

No because I am a decent human being who respects the beliefs and opinions of others no matter how ridiculous I may think them.

Edit: That being said, I am a devout Christian who believes in preserving this beautiful Earth that God gave us. But I do not see "global warming" to be a serious or even minimal threat. And although I disagree with you, I respect your opinions and love you as one of God's great creations. God Bless. I hope you may learn to be more kind and respectful to others in the future.
