Or do you think it will continue to grow?

And do you think there will ever be a trend of giving girls names to boys to balance everything out?

Lol, I don't think giving boys girl names is gonna happen anytime soon.

I don't know about giving girls boy names.. but there's definitely a trend at giving people really strange and unique names, like Apple and Melody and stuff like that.

I dont think it is a trend that started or will finish. Its always been happening and always will.
I think people tend not to call boys girls names for fear that their boys will seem girly and less masculine.

No. Most of them aren't traditional masculine names anyway. It's not like parents are going around calling their daughters Arnold, Robert and Stephen. The names they're using (Peyton, Blair, Riley etc) are just surnames that don't have much history of usage on either gender.

Naming a girl Ryan or Avery in 2010 is the equivalent of naming a girl Ashley or Lindsay in the 1980s or naming a girl Lynne or Beverly in the 1940s.

And I guess you could say the fact the boys are also being named Peyton and other surname derived names balances out the trend somewhat.
