Do you think Dallas made a mistake not picking up Deangelo Hall?

Dallas isn't the right team for him unless they were to change their defense to suit him. Hall can be a very good zone cover guy, but he proved in Oakland that he couldn't do man coverage if his life depended on it. Dallas likes to leave their CBs in man coverage a lot, so Dallas would be a horrible destination for Hall.

If you want the Hall who was occasionally brilliant in Atlanta instead of the Hall who looked awful even compared to the rest of the Raiders (!!!), you need your team to play zone pretty much exclusively.

DeAngelo Hall is overrated i dont understand why people think he is good, all his INTS are from tipped passes they aren't real INTS like Asmougha whatever his name is from the Raiders, he's a real corner
Dallas is retarded for picking up Pacman Jones he's overrated too.
So no Dallas made no mistake for trying to pick up D Hall

I don't think they did. The problem in Dallas is that they solve problems by throwing money at them rather than taking the time to develop and find players that fit their style and system. Hall has way too high of a price tag to take that gamble on.

Especially since Dallas does not have the locker room presence to keep an ego like Hall in check. If Hall were the proverbial "last piece" of the puzzle I'd feel different about it, but there are just too many off season questions right now.

I dont think. I think they will be ok with the young talent they drafted for back their in the last few years. If Newman can stay healthy they will be ok. If he goes down like he has been, they are in trouble. Anthony Henry did not have a good year at all

You might want to ask yourself what is Jerry Jones thinking. First off he seems to hire coaches that are yes men. Look at Phillips. He can make a team a losing team in a little amount of time. He had proven it. He might be good as an assistant coach but not a head coach. I believe that as we get older we slow down. Look at our favorite bands from years ago. They used to rock and now they play laid back sounds. This could be what happened to Jerry Jones. Also Joe Gibbs. Its not the same game it was 15 years ago. Its not even the same game it was 10 years ago. Also money don't make the team. Look at the raiders. They had the most #1 picks and the highest paid players and of course there was no playoff for them. Dallas and San Francisco seemed to want to be the one that spent the most money a few years ago. Dallas needs to sit down get back to the basics of who and what they are. The off field antics and on field antics need to stop and they need to be a football team and not celebs.

Yea, you better watch out cuz for now on your gonna be seeing him twice a year. =)

He seems like a high quality CB that was on the wrong team. He grew up as a Redskins fan.
