Green Technology is in part a political movement that wants to change the laws of nature, the laws of nations and the laws of economics. To the extent they are able to change these laws and get political support, to that same extent they will need some engineering done.

I am not aware of any large number of green engineering degree programs, and would suspicious of them. Like having a Republican, or Democratic engineering program. If you hire your engineers on the basis of their beliefs your going to get flawed engineers and flawed engineering.

Part of the green technology pitch is that mistakes have been made when engineers are directed by management only interested in the fast buck or more killing power or some other myopic belief. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

I dont belive in the whole global warming so m answer would be no, i do belive green technology is important at all

Yes absolutely. I want there to still be snow in 20 years.

"Green technology" is a nickname for technology which hopefully will help humans be environmentally conscious in their actions of using said technology.

Being environmentally conscious is a GOOD THING. We have one planet, and we need to use it responsibly. It only has finite resources that it can offer us, no matter what resource you examine.

True green technology is a good thing too. Nothing is wrong with technology aiding us to use less resources.

What is NOT a good thing is what is called "greenwashing". Greenwashing is a type of brainwashing whereby which the marketing strategy is to dishonestly advertise one's product so that people think it is a green technology when it really might not be. Rather than being the green of a healthy planet Earth, it is secretly the green of money instead.

There is always a (for lack of a better opposite of green) magenta side of everything. Magenta representing resource consumption and pollution. Everything pollutes, the real question of a green technology is...does this pollute LESS than the existing alternative per unit of what we want it to do?

It is important to be a responsible consumer and ask yourself this test and research it before being succeptable to greenwashing.

I do not believe in Green Technology at all.

Talk to farmers in northern Ontario they will tell you exactly what the government can do to help. But the government is far too interested in short term investments to care. Green Technology is a scam, if they actually cared they would do what is right. Farmers try speaking out and they get silenced

We desperately need to change, but the solution to the issue is getting rid of greed and increasing our nations pride.

yes i know we do..we have one planet and we have to take care of it...were ruining it and waiting for a pivitol moment where is life or destruction if we wait too long were gonna die off and drag like a billion other species with us
