Do you think I should throw away my ps3 controller? ( read further)?

So last night I was playing the Wii with my family,Wii Fit, then I had to put my hands on the carpet for some of the exercises. But the thing is the floor had just been cleaned a few hours before,so I got carpet cleaner on my hands. Then shortly after I touched my ps3 controller,before I washed my hands. I forgot i had carpet cleaner on my hands :( I washed them right after. So how do I get the carpet cleaner off the controller or should I just throw away the ps3 controller?
 
I'd say just try scrubbing it with a slightly damn rag. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the controller, if it does, just throw it away.
 
check if it works, if it does keep it. if your the type to want things clean then give it to me lol
 
Wipe it off with a damp rag. If you are afraid of getting water in between the seams, then take it to Best Buy, or Circuit City, and they might be able to repair it or even give you a new controller. Hope this helped!
 
no point throwing away a perfectly good controller. just wipe it off with a wet cloth.
