So I don't live in the slums or anything, but my family doesn't have a lot of money. We live in a neighborhood close to the neighborhood that most of you might call "the ghetto". There was a grow op in one of the houses in my complex, gunshots, fighting, drug deals etc.
Anyways, so you have a religious person believing that violence and fornication and thievery are sins and will send you to hell, and a non-religious person who (in THIS case) believes that these things are crimes, but will not necessarily affect him in a negative way if he is not directly involved. Do you think that the religious person is more likely to judge my neighborhood in a negative way? Do you think that the non-religious person is more likely not to judge or judge my neighborhood neutrally?
OR, because many people believe that religious people are more accepting of others, do you think that the religious person is more likely to have pity on the residents of the neighborhood and/or try to help out?
**All personal opinions on the neighborhood aside**
