do you think the majority of people are completely lacking in humour?

not at all. in fac t almost everybody has a sense of humour it's just hard to find at times. mostly we are too busy doing chores and daily grind to let our selves relax and enjoy a good joke. bet in reality very few are not capable of having a good chuckle now and then.
 
right you are. there sure are a lot of uptight people in this world.
they need to be shaken up.
and i don't just mean that figuratively.
 
people have differing types of humour which makes it difficult to understand all jokes
