Do you think women stay in bad relationships, just to have something to cry about

and to gossip about...? I believe this, bc i know many girls who date the worst human being in the world and allows them to walk all over them. they call their friends and cry about it and tell them he is the worse thing in the world and then go right back to them... all they have to do is leave the bum, but no they stay, so they can have something to cry about and gossip about... it happens all the time and i get sick of hearing girls talk about a guy then go running back. i can't think of any other reason for this crazy behavior. do you???
I thought I would get attack for this question, but women answered and by in large they do agree. I just got off the phone with a friend who is doing this and I am sick of her calling and asking for a place to stay for the night every other week...
 
Sometimes your reasoning is right, but I wouldn't generalize. I was once stuck in a relationship like that and I told no one about it. He was incredibly abusive and managed to push away all my friends so no one knew about it. I lied to my family and told them he was wonderful. I was young and inexperienced and didn't know how to get away from a guy who raped me, sexually abused me, verbally abused me and mentally abused me. I was incredibly weak and broken by the time I was able to walk away and to this day I am still unable to date anyone and it's been 10 years.

So sometimes you're right, some girls are just stupid and want attention, but some of us are seriously abused and broken down for life. We don't mean to get into that situation, it just happens and getting out of it is very hard because you feel stuck and threatened. Basically it's the girls who aren't gossiping about it that you have to worry about.
