I find it difficult to believe that every one of these people actually believes the creationism nonsense. I think a large number of them either do not care if what they say and claim to believe is true and some even knowingly lie and perpetuate the lie all for arguments sake. Perhaps they are bored?

One could make such a blanket statement about evolutionists, too. But it is unwise to make blanket statements.

Your right. these people are a disgrace to christians once you think about it. Their trying to convert people to christianity for the wrong reason.

Every time I have the discussion with anyone that believes in any kind of creationist principles I have exactly the same discussion, the vast majority of these people have no understanding of the basic principles of science, do not understand things like what is a hypothesis, what is a theory, and most importantly what is evidence.

The argument is always circular, as they either, choose to ignore what you say, or chose to use the 'god of the gaps' arguments to try to throw the discussion of kilter.

Reality, trying to discuss anything with someone who has swallowed creationist dogma is boring, defacto, creationists are boring people who do not want or wish to find out what new things have been discovered about the world in which they live, but seem happy to accept and use any modern technology that science and the theories of science have brought them, funny how they all use the science, but decry the validity of research.

How do you know that creationism is false? Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You most look at everything from all angles. Sure many young creationists may love to argue, but many young atheists do the same exact thing. Bring on the thumbs down but its true.
