Does 120HZ vs. 60HZ really matter that much with a Samsung 40in LCD?

Been researching but would like to know from users. Does it really make that much difference with a screen this size.
 
YES!!!!

lcds are prone to motion blur which you will see when watching fast action things like sports or video games. the higher the hurtz rating the less you see the motion blur. dont buy an lcd with anything less than 120hz else you will see the motion blur. dont say you werent warned.
