All Ps3's have blu-ray on it. It's standard through out all the systems or else not all systems would be able to play the same games ( as games are on blu-ray now)

High Defintion is in ALL Ps3 models since day one. You just need HDMI cables. The cheapest I saw at blockbuster were $20 CAD. online you can find them or $8
