I gave my dad my old Motorola Atrix to use as an iPod touch, of sorts. He doesn't have a sim card, but I thought he'd still be able to access the Internet if wifi was around.
I did a factory reset and my sad is saying his computer won't even recognize the phone when he plugs it in.
I'm just wondering if a sim card is needed to use an old phone for games, Internet access, calendar, music, etc.
