Does anybody know of an excellent quality rewritable DVD disc?

I have just tried burning my digital camera movies onto Sony DVD+RW tapes 4.7GB 120 mins, and in playback the movies jump and freeze intermittently. I tried recording onto several of the tapes with the same result, so I didn't have a dud one.

Does anybody know which tapes I should be using? My burner can take plus or minus tapes and is a Sony model.
