Does anybody whats wrong with my iphone/ itunes?

Once i updated my itunes to 8.0 my iphone 3g is not showing up in my computer nor my itunes... I have restarted my computer a billion times, redownloaded itunes 2 times and restarted my phone!!!! Any suggestions?? Thanks for all the help!
