I've read all the questions already asked about smaller cars, and over 100 reviews on babiesrus.com, and that site where you're supposed to be able to find the best car seats for certain cars didn't have an Astra as a choice. Not that my car is super tiny, but I've been looking at the Britax Marathon and the Roundabout and worried that the Marathon may be too large. All these other cars I've read about I don't know how big their back seats are so I can't really compare. I'm only 5 foot 1 so I keep my seat way up and he'll go behind me, especially since my passenger(who is usually his dad who's a lot taller than me) needs the seat almost all the way back. They are expensive and I know the differences dimensions wise, but they are highly rated to be safe and the Cowmooflauge print is just SO cute. Basically, if you have a Saturn Astra or a car close to its size, is the Marathon difficult to fit comfortably or how did the Roundabout go? Also from real experience how long can the baby sit in it before they outgrow it?
As noted somewhere in there, I've read over 100 reviews on just one website and found out they are safe, I've seen pictures of babies of all different sizes to see how comfortably they fit, I made sure they are well padded because I don't want him to be uncomfortable, and found out that it can withstand wrecks and the most babies didn't even wake up. It is an extremely safe carseat, I need to know if it will fit though and Babies R Us, or target doesn't have the floor model so I can't test it out.
