...failure at 29k due to abuse? The car has 29,000 miles and clutch and transmission failed. The dealer states the failure is because of abuse. How can they tell abuse. The 2007 TL S model was advertised as a sports car with 285hp and I drive it pretty fast, but dont peel-out or treat it in a way you could say "abusive." I agreed to pay for clutch $1600, but I think they should cover the transmission under the warranty. I also wonder if a failed 3rd gear synro a few thousand miles ago had anything to do with failure.
