Does anyone know any fixes for xbox 360 3 red lights?

Its my nephews and i would like to help him! i've looked on net! and can't find any cheap help! just wondering if anyone can help or give me a site what will!

YouTube offers a few fixes, but when this was tried by my boyfriend it was only a temporary fix. The red ring soon came back.

Classed as the "Ring of Death". This happened to my son's just before Christmas but thankfully was still under warranty so they gave him a new one.

If you google "ring of death" there is help there but not sure if these work or not.

If still under warranty they will collect for you - the X Box goes back to Germany to try and repair - if cannot repair new console - takes about 21 days.

YES, microsoft!

You get 3 red lights you have extended warranty, they cover that for 3 years, repair it for free, ups collect it from you for free.

Don't tamper, as soon as you do microsoft wont touch it.

Enter your code from the back of the xbox and it will most likely say OUT OF WARRANTY they in small writing lower it will say IF 3 RED LIGHTS APPEAR YOU HAVE 3 YEAR WARRANTY...something along them lines, anyway here's the link!

you need to contact microsoft asap its called the rings of death and its microsoft fault not yours or his. if its still under warranty you can send it to microsoft and they will fix it.
