...from the 80's)? I absolutely love movie soundtracks, especially ones from the 80's (doesn't necessarily have to have been made in that decade, but a similar sound to it would be nice). I prefer the ones that have that Sci-Fi/Fantasy mysterious feel about them. It's also better if they have no singing in them, just the music.

Here's some examples of the type of ones I'm looking for;

Some of my favorites from that era were:

Edward Scissorhands (Ice Dance)

Blade Runner (Rachel's Song)

You should look into the work of Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, and Danny Elfman. They are probably right up your alley and can lead you to others. Another you might like is Enrico Morricone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0jFrXO22_o). Javier Navarette's work on Pan's Labyrinth is pretty mesmerizing as well (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19bBGxf5k6k).

I also really like Zeforah's Adagio in D minor they used in the Sunshine OST (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR5posxUZp0).
