I have a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 express van with 40k mi that is basic which comes with manual door locks and windows that crank up. I would like to install cruise control unit in the vehicle. I have bought the stalk switch installed it. (when i installed it, it had the wire that connected to the stalk) I thought that's all i needed but i was wrong so i went to the Chevrolet dealer to see what else i needed to install the cruise control. They said that they didn't have the kit for my van but if they would install it specially, with reprogramming the pcu it would cost me $1500 or more. Then a friend told me that i needed a module. I bought a used module for $80 which came with a cable. I was wondering if the van came prewired.
Does anyone know how to install the module?
