does anyone know how to make a dvd from a video clip in divx format?

I want to know how to make a divx video clip into a regular dvd and be able to play on a regular dvd player.what do i need to download?
i have windows vista

i use nero...
it will take most any vidio file and convert it to dvd format
there are several program in nero that do different things
so you have to use the right one off the program
