I had a disc stuck in my blue ray drive...the game would still play but when attempting to eject the disc the drive would click and never open. Tried multiple options for ejecting it...i.e. holding down the eject button, using manual eject screw nothing worked. So after getting tired of playing the old disc, and since my warranty was expired I opened the ps3...took the disk out that was in the drive and placed a new disc in it's place. After re-assembling the disc...the system no longer recognized either the drive or that a disc was in it...which i couldn't tell. Unfortunately after i took the drive apart again...two springs fell off and I have an idea where one goes but not how to replace it (this spring goes over the lever on the right hand side that holds the disc in place, which is the one I can't figure out how to replace properly)....but the other a small round spring and i have no idea where that one goes. Anyone with experience working on and repairing ps3's any suggestions would be appreciated.
