...and pre term contractions? I am 32 (almost 33 weeks) pregnant and I started pre term contractions at 29 weeks. I have been diagnosed with Single Umbilical Vein, too much amniotic fluid, and I also have pre term contractions. I had hoped that the fluid would decrease but it is not, so I am wondering if anyone has had experience with these conditions because I see my specialist again this week and to be honest I am scared he might decide to deliver me at 34 weeks. So if anyone has some words of wisdom or an experience with this you can share I would greatly appreciate it. And yes I do have another child and yes I did deliver him at 36 weeks. Thank you for any help you can give.

I dont know if that is what I had with my son. But when he was born they took out 4 liters of fluid along with a 10 pound baby....but dont let that worry you I also have diabetes...but because of other complications along with the fluid and the contractions that I was having, starting at about 26 weeks I had a c-section at about 34 weeks according to my doctor, but according to me I had my son on his due date...lol GOOD LUCK to you though!!!
