What if you find out that a student of yours or more than 1 uses their training to do bad things like bully people, get into fights etc. Would you still continue to train them?. If so then what would you do to fix that attitude of theirs?.
Also what if you have no specific proof but you suspect that a student of yours uses his training to get into fights with people due to his attitude etc. What do you do then?. I've known some guys who used their martial art training to get into fights with people during high school.

I have and foster a close enough relationship with my students and their parents so that I would quickly become aware of such things. When I do I bring that student in and sit them down for a little counseling session one-on-one. Many will change or modify their behavior after that and it is not because that I say something so much different than what other adults might be already saying to them about this but because of that relationship I have already formed with them. This and the fact that here is someone that has no reason, no hidden objective, no agenda to say something about their behavior is saying something can go a long way towards influencing them I think. At the same time telling them that their parents are not going to continue to pay for their lessons or let them continue to study martial arts if they can't control their behavior is a very big stick which I can also pull out of my pocket and have if they can not be reached by me and their behavior modified. Once they know that along with everything else and that personally I will not continue to teach them or have them as a student provides a pretty united front and a lot of reasons for them to start to behave and modify their approach to things.

If you know of their misdeeds then tell them if they continue they will be removed from schooling.

If you suspect them of misdoings, provide examples of behavior and consequences. While removing a person from class may not teach them more way to harm others, and keeps them away from you... it does NOT change their attitudes which are the root of the problem.

Try to help them adjust positively through teachings and by providing a great example yourself. Then, if that doesn't work remove them from class.

If you know of crimes they've committed, report them to the police.
