Does he feel obliged to go on a second date with me? Or could he actually be...

...interested, but shy? I met a guy Friday, 3 weeks ago & he's very shy. So am I, but I think he's even worse than me. He gave me his number, because he wasn't sure if I was interested. We went on a date on Sat, 2 weeks ago and it went really well, but we were both shy, however I thought he liked me since he bought me an album of my favourite artist, held my hand after we left and asked to kiss me at the end. He also kept mentioning meeting me again.

I text him when I got home (as he told me to). I also text him 3 days after our date (having not heard anything). I said I just wondered how he was and how his week had been, and said it would be nice to meet up again. He said he would like to meet again but couldn't that weekend cos of a friend staying (which is true, as he said on the date). He said it might have to be the next weekend, and then he asked me how I've been. I replied and said speak to you soon, etc.

I hadn't heard anything from him since the day I text him, last tuesday. So today, I text him, as we are supposed to be meeting this weekend, and we hadn't spoken.

I said "Hey, how have you been? I guess it looks like we won't be seeing each other this weekend. Anyway, you should just be honest if you have changed your mind. Just feels like I'm taking all the initiative."

He replied saying "Hey. I'm sorry. Iv been really busy but I should have let you know. Do you want to go to the British Film Institution in the week? Sorry again."

So, does that mean he has some interest? Or does he just feel obliged to meet me?
