internet 'tracking' programs? I noticed that when I open one of my little igadgets, no matter where on the web it looks at (i.e facebook) the address in my address bar remains "igoogle.com". But I also notice that the little loading info bar at the bottom of my window (which displays what is loading, and than says "done" - not sure what it's called) displays the various addresses of websites as they load - despite the main address bar being static.
So here is my question - do internet tracking programs (for the most part) just keep track of websites you've visited? Or - if I were to hypothetically stay on "igoogle" and do all my 'personal surfing' from within the little modules - would it appear to my IT guy that I had simply logged into IGoogle?
Would be cool to know for sure. Also - I don't know how internet tracking software really works, so I'm curious, just so I understand what not to push if I decide to do any 'surfing' on the clock.
Thanks!
