I've paired up a bluetooth headset to my iPhone just fine, and when the headset off, the little bluetooth icon on the phone becomes greyed out - which is good. I just wanted to know will the iPhone use less battery when in this state, and if so, is it significantly less? I would hope the answer is 'yes' as leaving it in this state just makes connecting the headset really easy when driving.
