leave the disc in the laptop overnight? just leaving the disc in there instead of taking it out. if it just stays inn the computer for several days?

no.... ive left 1 in 4 a year and nothing happened to the disk or the laptop

No, it won't do any harm but it's a bad practice. You should take the discs out before shutting down the computer,
