does it hurt to keep my bike in a hot, small, unventilated garage?

I live in a 1br apartment and rent a 1 car garage. The garage appears to be unventilated and day time temps inside the garage are exceedingly hot. Being obsessive compulsive as I am, I worry that the heat inside the closed garage might be doing damage to certain components on my bike
(hoses, or seals, etc). What do you think?
