okay so
1. i have an itouch and i want to update it to 4.2 software
2.but i cant because i dont have the newer version of itunes in my computer and
3. if i update it to the newer version then my 800 songs will be gone so i cant get the newer version. 4.but i still wanna upgrade my ipod
5.so would this work if i got the newer version of itunes on my laptop and upgraded my ipod from there
6.and it restores and syncs my ipod but because there is no music in the itunes in the laptop i have no music in my itouch.
7.so then i will go back to the old version of itunes with my music and sync my ipod from there. so basically,
8.i wanna know will my itouch sync with itunes if i upgraded it to 4.2 and synced with the older version of itunes. i have a new version but not the newest 10.1 or watever.
i know this is long but can anyone PLZ HELP!
