...reveal Himself to those He chooses? Matt 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].

no. He is affirming what is written about Him in Rev 19/12

'His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.'

although He is given in revelation to us, there are things about our Lord and Savior we will never be privy to. it is His sacred mystery and eternal purpose.

I would say so, yes, salvation is through Christ only in the New Testament. I didn't choose Him first, He chose me and I responded as a result

It basically means the only way to know the Father is through the Son (Jesus). As Jesus said, "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." If you don't know Jesus you won't know God the Father.

The Son will reveal the Father to anyone who repents and believes. We are at the mercy of God who offers us a way to be counted as righteous and avoid eternal punishment.

When we open to Christ, we choose him, we are chosen. He has left the door open as the Father did for the prodigal son.

Since God has instilled hope throughout His creation, it's just a matter of time that everyone will choose Christ.

No, that is not what he is saying neighbor. Matt 11:27-28

27 Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. "The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does. But I'm not keeping it to myself; I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen.

(from THE MESSAGE )

So, has the son revealed the father to you? That is the mystery is it not? It is nothing to be proud of if he has. It is a matter of having believed the word about Jesus Christ. Jesus has done it all, but we must believe. Everyone is subject to Jesus because he is the creator and sustainer of everthing that exists.

since he chose to die for the world
he chooses to reveal himself to the world, as he chooses
