...24HR PERIOD.? I took all my children to Mexico a few yrs ago, and we came back in the same day. At that time i only showed the health insurance cards & my DL. I know that new laws have been passed, I have my passport because I have traveled for longer periods, but my daughter hasn't and we want to go with other family members. We would go in the morning and be coming back that afternoon because we do live close to the border. If you happen to know if a minor needs a passport while accompanied by their own parents please let me know.
