does my green card or passport have my travel information recorded on it?

both have magnetic strips but i have never noticed immigration swiping either parrport or green card on return for a trip

I am up for citizenship and was out for longer than six months which I would need to explain if it comes up on the computer (recorded magnetic strip info)
