I bought a Mongoose maneuver mountain bike back in the nineties when Mongoose was a good brand. That bike was awesome and reliable! I recently bought a Mongoose dxr mountain bike and it sucks! Its literally a piece of crap!
I heard that Pacific bought Mongoose and a few other brands which is why Mongoose now sucks! Having said that, what other brands are now owned by Pacific and do they all suck because they are owned by Pacific?
I was thinking of buying a 2008 GT Outpost Mountain bike from craigslist for 300 because at the store it cost 500! However, im pretty sure GT is now owned by Pacific so im not sure if this 500 dollar bike is any good.
Any advice, suggestions, and or comments would be appreciated. Thanks
