Does posting rants about how mean the opposite sex is for not finding you

attractive make you feel better? I guess that it does for some trolls, as they keep saying, "Woe is me; no one likes me -- everyone's superficial & stupid", but then ignore all of the advice that they get and keep re-posting the same tired old rant. Do these people really think that the world will change in their favor if they complain here enough? Even if young, popular, buff gym rats learn to love obese old women, and hot, party girls learn to give quiet, boring guys a chance, the odds of someone that you know reading your post and dating you as a result is minuscule.
 
Not that I'm aware of, but then again, I've never tried it. Perhaps if I post several dozen like the one here you've posted, I may feel better.

I guess they need to rant but I agree that they do not usually listen to any advice anyone is likely to give them most of the time and really it's only a rant to blow off steam. I basically ignore them now.

Ha, this is awesome. Yeah, if someone is not attracted to me, I don't think anything is wrong with them. I'm prone to think that everything is always wrong with me, though. That is, despite the constant sea of gentlemen who are interested in me and attracted to me, that can be an issue in itself, because I feel like a bad person for rejecting them. But I shouldn't be made to feel bad for turning someone down, I can't date all the time and I can't date everyone, and if I tried, they'd still be unhappy with that. Besides, who REALLY wants to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you all that much? I don't.

A friend of mine has the opposite issue, but they don't rant about it, they just wish that they could feel desired... I feel bad and try to help... They are a catch, but there are few people out there that would match up with them well.

If they didn't do it, they would hurt an innocent person by building up all that anger and bitterness. Just let them rant.
