I don't understand your question. Secondly, who can speak for all religion?

Again, who can defend all religion? There is religion that worships animal to extraterrestrials. I don't agree with all of them nor do I know all their teachings.

...down to earth person be Religious.?
God knows I am not a rigid type. How could I ever be expected to follow a rigid plan.
1 Corinthians. Your answer is not selling your viewpoint there love.
a. I don't have a husband. b. if I did he wouldn't be telling what to do or when to speak.
Just a nobody, what I am saying is that Religion is inflexible, it's this way or the highway - the highway to hell. How then can this be a path for mankind. Not everybody is wired to be stiff in their thinking.
Fair enough girls. I am sure you are very nice.

there is no rigid plan to follow. you just need some humility, that 's all.
1 corinthians 14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

I don't see anything rigid there .

EDIT that was just an example and that scripture isn't for married couple only but everyone.
if nobody can't tell you anything , you can't be a christian because you have to have humility.

The Word of God,is not a book of rigid rules and regulations, imposed on man,by an overbearing angry God..Jesus,summed up the Old Testament law in this:That a man would love God with all of his being and in the same manner, love his neighbor,as he loves himself..James,the half-brother of Jesus stated this about Religion:Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of God,is to remember those who are helpless, such as orphans and widows and to remain spiritually pure, unstained by a corrupt world...

Yes,God is inflexible concerning obedience to His known will, but has in the same respect, wonderfully created each of us,as unique beings, with specific giftings, talents and personalities and wishes to be glorified,in and through His creation...We are not religio-robots,but rather willing vessels,in service of God,through His Son Jesus Christ, who paid a ransom for many, that we may become sons and daughters,of the living God...Not stripped of any semblance of personality, devoid of joy, happiness and pleasure, but rather given a pattern of righteousness thinking and living to emulate, in the person of Jesus Christ, that we may grow spiritually and to be of substantive use,in helping and serving others, who are in need...

I see two of my sisters,in the Lord..Paula and Faith...We are all different, unique in personality, yet God in His wisdom, uses each, according to His divine plan...God is simply interested in building character,in righteousness.

Yawn...Isn't He ever going to shut-up..I'm getting sleepy,already...lol

Well the Church and religion is mess up bad .

Peter in the bible was who he was , he did not wear a suit like he was going to a funeral , He probably smelled like fish , and stank at times .

Yet Jesus said on this rock I will build my church , meaning that his person (peter ) knew who Jesus really was and seen the miracles .

Watch the movie howard stern , he found out , that when he was himself , and not what he thought a DJ should act and sound like , is when he became popular .

The Church should take a lesson from Him . But they act like Christians , and have become hypocrites . And are not real , I hate going to church , they have forgot that church is like heaven , a place to worship God , but a place of family . Church should be like Christmas where family comes together , but church today is some preaching and worship , which is good , but the family part does not exist . It's a shame they have religion .

I wasn't sure what a"full on personality" means or a"truly down
to earth person" means.
But I got a pretty good idea from your comments.
Religion, that is your own real religion has no requirements
except that we love one another, love God and judge not.

If you can do that- every thing else will fall in line. And by the way,
you are allowed to have fun too.

A rigid plan? It is the plan of Salvation, the gift of a better life here and the hereafter. I am less rigid, less stiff, since accepting the Lord in my life. He has given me peace, joy and a full and contented life. Totally the opposite of what you think. Paula who has just answered this question also is the most down to earth person you could ever meet. ..God Bless :)

Blessed Be The Name of The Lord
He Reigns

Short version of what Bobby said.... ((((Bobby))))

We are all unique and still have our own personality without looking like cookie cutouts of the same dough.

God does require obedience but like a loving parent, What He requires is usually what is best for us even if it doesn't look like it from our side of things.
