I have been wanting to get a tablet for the portability and size. I have thought about getting an Ipad2, but it bothers me how it is virtually uncustomizable and the only thing I like about it is the App Store.

If I was to get an Android based tablet, would I get a good selection of apps from their "app store". I know it isn't on the level of Ipad2 app store, but would I have any trouble finding apps for the Android?

They have alot on an ipad you would pay 99¢for angry birds but on a android pad it is free alot of apps to chose from alot of free ones that you would pay for with an paid.

The selection for the phones is excellent. Most apps aren't HD enough to be as smooth on the tablets as one would like, but that's changing. There are more free apps than the iPad (of course some free are worse quality since they're free--others are just as good!) and the key apps I like are all available (Quick Office HD for MS Office products being a great tablet office app).

Yes the android tablet is pretty good just make shore about the processor make it at least 1GHz so it could be running fast and you dont need to jailbreak to download free paid apps.. Just download the app 4shared and it's free on the android market.. And on the app store for apple you need a credit card to create an account... Hope it helps..
