Does the X-box 360 act as a third party unit while accessing wireless internet?

My father would not let me put the internet on my X-box from fear of other people using the internet from the x-box. Does it give away the internet Access to the computer by logging on X-box live.

No it doesn't. It just receives connection from your wireless router or your direct Ethernet cable. If you have a router just make sure it has a WEP encryption.

In order to have X-box live you need a wireless router. first the internet goes from ur computer to the router then to the x-box. 1, 2, 3.
