I am trying to get in shape for track that starts in a few months. obviously i cant go outside and run sprints like i used to b/c of the weather. i've been running on the treadmill at 10 mph for 12 minutes. i've read not only will that not help it might actually hurt me or slow me down somehow. is their any thruth to that? (i am also doing other things like plyometrics and lifting weights daily).
