dog bite pls help me?

I need some help.. ok i was at work and my landlords daughter seen my little dog in stuck in the window blinds so she took it upon her self to let her self into my house and get get my dog out of the window blinds she is not my landlord just my landlord daughter. well my dog was scared and bit her the police told me i had to show papers that my dog has his rabies shots i did this now my landlord is telling me that she wants me to pay her daughter $275.00 for her going to the doctors do i have to pay her i did not tell anyone to go into my home when i was not home
