Dog whines while chewing bone?

My dog whines when she chews her bone. Not constantly but on and off. She doesn't do this while playing with any toys or any other chewing situations. She has the white stick bone, it is 100% natural made from free range cattle. Any ideas on what may cause this? She is 1 and well past her teathing stage.

my pup does that too....i always thought it was because he didnt want anyone taking it away from him? because its only when someones around or too close to his bone!!!!

she might be playing and just making noises . but always be care full with rawhide it could be hurting her moth but shes probably just having fun
