dont you hate those who talk on their cell phones while driving?

i cant stand it!! these people need to be shot.

im in college and was driving, on my way to class. i was going 50mph down a road, and theres a car that decides to make a right turn from their direction onto the road at the last minute. i had to slam my brakes really hard in order to avoid an accident. my tires screeched, i wouldnt be surprised if i left skid marks on the road. couldn't avoid her, she was turning into a one lane road. how i didnt hit her i dont know. good thing my brakes work.

i lay on the horn, and then later eventually pass her. i saw that she was talking on the phone!!! i was furious. she was so distracted that she turns right into an oncoming car going 50mph, almost killing me and causing an accident.

wtf is wrong with people!?! stop talking on the phone while you drive!!!!!!!!!
ha it might be illegal, but people do it anyways.

Your right - people do do it anyway. That's why you get their license plate number and report their a*ses! Hands-off systems were made for a reason. It's even worse when they try to text and drive.

Unless your a passenger or have a hands-free system, texting/calling shouldn't be allowed. It should be illegal everywhere.

Yes! They're almost never paying attention. I've almost been hit a few times because someone was texting or too involved in a phone call.

It's illegal for a reason.

Yes I hate when I see this, especially when I see it nearly cause an accident, but I don't think talking on your cell phone while driving should be illegal. Reckless driving in general can be caused by anything from picking your nose, reading while driving, messing with the radio, reaching for your water bottle that fell on the floor, alcohol, lack of sleep, etc, etc. We've all done something at least at some point that's nearly resulted in an accident...we're all humans operating a large, dangerous machine. Suggesting that someone should be shot for such a thing is taking it a little far (maybe you're exaggerating?)

Reckless driving should be penalized in some way or another, no matter what it was that caused the person to drive that way. Having all sorts of laws against things like texting while driving, talking on the phone while driving, drinking and driving (driving while you're extremely tired is more dangerous than driving when you've had a couple drinks) doesn't make any sense to me. Punish the reckless driving.
