Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish singer). She has a very talented voice and it's really strong. Yes, it's kind of operatic, but it's unique with the band she was in. Nightwish is popular in Europe, and unheard of in the United States. Both Nightwish and Tarja deserve credit.

they are? Some of my favorite artists should be reconized more than they are. For example is you don't know Lights (real name Valerie Poxleitner) is my most favorite of them all. She is such a good singer and so natural. All of her songs are catchy and theres not one that I dont like. look up her songs! Also, there is Ariana Grande who is one of the actors in the nickelodeon show Victorious. her Youtube channel is Osnapitzari. I didnt know she was so TALENTED! she mostly does covers of famous songs but most of these covers, in my opinion, are better than the actual song. She actual sings when she rehearses, and maybe even better than Victoria Justice, but they're both amazing. Liz Gillies is another actor from that show who is amazing at singing. I wonder though if they do become famous like Kesha, beyonce, or people like that, they will change..so they should just keep doing what they are doing now, but I just wanted to say how much better I think they are than singers that get a LOT of attention but aren't that good. There are probably much more singers that aren't noticed well, if you know some you like, tell me.

Yes, a lot of actors. I think Ryan Phillippe and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are really talented, but a lot of people have never heard of them before.

It is all about luck and who can promote themselves the best with a gimmick that annoys most people so the rest of them just have to be part of their fan club to feel different..Talent doesn't enter the equation sadly so the real personalities miss out unless they too find that magic formula to instant stardom..The overnight sensation happens the most on YouTube..That is where the talentless are persuaded into believing they have it by playing the numbers game..The most hits plays tricks them as most just go there to see what all the fuss is about..doesn't mean they actually love the artist..same thing happens on Twitter..Follower numbers are meaningless unless they are real people and not just band-wagon jumpers out to be popular for their choice in Celeb.
