Downhill Mountian bike advice pleaseeeeeeeee?

alirght so i want to get a DH bike because dh on a cross country bike isnt all that fun (or comfortable) SO i need a recomendation on a bike or where I can get one. I live in Pennsylvania outside of Philly. if anyone wants a trade or is trying to sell one let me know too. But my price limit is about 1700. Which is about the price of a DHS velvet which i am deff looking at. Thanks guys.

DHS wouldn't be a bad choice but it wouldn't be the best... when i was in the market for my first dh bike i looked at a lot of companies before i bought mine and i think you should do the same because if you know your style of riding then you'll know what kind of design will fit your riding style. Simply put if you want to get the most out of your money ask each company like: Iron horse, DHS, etc. what is this bike's main purpose when racing... and when you find one that fits get it! but you may have to sacrifice some choices because of your spending limit.... good luck and if you have any question beyond this on you could email me at [email protected]
