I have 100's of cd's and movies. I would like to rip them to pc but my cd/dvd drive is broken. My brother recommended I download them. How do I do that? hear of bit torrent and others. What should I download and then what sites should I download from?
A new cd/drive drive cost $19, and that is a good quality Samsung one. If you go to a store and pick one up and then have a computer repair install it for you for $10 then there shouldn't be a problem. Or you could ask a friend or try it yourself. Still beats torrenting in which case you risk a fine of a million dollars.
Or you could burn them using a different computer. You could pay $2 to go to a computer lab and do it there.
