Drinking age on a Carnival cruise ship.?

I'm going on a Carnival cruise on Aug. 29th. I know the drinking age is 21 still. I was wondering if there is anyway around that and how strict are they about checking ID's. I wont be turning 21 till nov. and i don't wanna wait till next summer to go on a cruise. Any info would be great.

They are Very strict on cruise ships when it comes to drinking age. You could be kicked off of a cruise ship for violating the rules. I have personally witnessed and entire family kicked off a ship while it was docked in Jamaica b/c the parents allowed their kids to drink underage. They were not issued a refund and had to pay to fly themselves back to the states.

there really isn't any way around it, cept for maybe a fake id. i know someone who i went on a cruise with (it was carnival as well) he ordered rum and coke, the guy id'd him, took it off to check it (we were watching a show in the dark) and the guy brought it back with his drink, then later brought a paper the guy's dad had to sign bc they found out he was underage...idk what would've happened if his dad wasn't on the ship

u could have ur friends order a drink for themselves n give it to u, but u have to be very smooth
