DS lite or wi fitness with balance board?

I don`t know much about these new video games.My 6 year old daughter wants a video game.Does the DS lite come with any games?Good ones for 6 year old?Best prices?Can`t decide if I should get the DS or Wi fitness.She has problems with balance and coordination,and I heard the fitness things is good.Do I have to buy everything seperate?What all do I need>Best prices.
 
I was 7 when I first got my first games console, and it was amazing. I think she'd love a DS, but like the other person said, you might have trouble pulling her away. However, it's great for car journeys and other times when you'll need to keep her entertained on the go.

A wii balance board is definitely not as exciting for a girl her age. It could help with her coordination and balance though, but eventually she'll tire of it. It's not much fun. Of course, you'll need a wii to go with it too, which is expensive if you're buying it all in one go.

i have both the ds and the wii with the wii fit. from what i've seen first hand, if you give a child the ds they are like in another world all day, so i would definitely not give a 6 year old a ds. with the wii though it will keep your child active, so that might be best for her.
