I have dual monitors, a 28" and a 23".
I have sidebars on the 23" (secondary monitor) towards the top of the screen.

When I start a game up, the Sidebars move to the right of the screen.
Then when I exit the game, they move back to the top.

I'm wondering why it's doing this, any questions?
I'm running Windows 7.
The game is Call of Duty MW2

Your question seems to be a little too broad. Maybe you could tell us what type of OS you're running or what the game is. For some games, it makes your screen smaller for the game period, but it returns the screen resolution when you end it. It happens on almost every game.

When you play a game at a non-native resolution (one that doesn't match with your 28" screen) sometimes part of your desktop gets "pushed" to the other monitor.

This will sometimes cause your icons to lose their positions and sidebar to jump about as the desktop gets shifted around.
This also happens with mine except mine is even more severe (I have 2 different backgrounds on each screen, sometimes part of the primary screens background creeps onto the other screen).

It's a very common glitch, but it's not exactly a huge problem since you're gaming you can't interact with the other monitor anyway.

last chance (joke)

The God decided to create “woman”,and he should take a rib from Adam. He gave Adam some sleeping-pills smilely, said:”Adam, enjoy the sleepy, this is the last chance that U could enjoy a peacefully sleep without any noise.” No money no way in real life,no gold no way in game!
