Duplicate text in Tinychat app (Android)?

I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 and I tried using the tinychat app but only on there, everytime I type, it duplicated the text of what I'm typing.

For example if I were to type "Hello" it would look like:

Hhehelhelllhelllo

Why does it keep doing this and how can I stop it?
